Young guests are invited to join Peter and Lily for Peter Rabbit Hippity Hop as they try to find playful Benjamin Bunny who has hidden in Mr McGregor’s garden. Located in the far end of CBeebies Land, nestled between Tree Fu Tom Training Camp and Mr. Bloom’s Allotment, guests can approach Peter Rabbit Hippity Hop either from the southern end of the area, passing The Furchester Hotel Live and Go Jetters Vroomster Zoom Ride, or from the northern end of the area, passing In the Night Garden Magical Boat Ride and Mr. Bloom’s Allotment.

Guests enter the queue-line, which is themed to Mr. McGregor’s Garden and includes several theming items, including a giant trough of radishes! Tasked with the mission of finding Benjamin Bunny who has hidden from his friends, young guests can complete puzzles whilst waiting to experience the ride.

Once at the front of the queue, guests are directed to place any loose items into the luggage storage racks, which are themed to vegetable crates, before taking their seat on one of the two junior drop towers. Once secured in place by the lap bar, guests are ready to “unleash their inner rabbit” as the ride gently raises them to the top of the tower before making a series of bounces, lifting guests up and down a number of times. From the top guests can spot the mischievous Benjamin Bunny who has hidden somewhere in Mr. McGregor’s garden. After the ride cycle has finished, guests are released from the ride, collect their belongings, and make their way to the exit gate.

In December 2018, a planning application was filed with Staffordshire Moorlands District Council for the addition of two junior drop towers. However, it wasn’t until January 2019, when documents were uploaded, that it was confirmed that they were to form a new attraction, code-named ‘Project Hip Hop’, in CBeebies Land.

With planning documents stating that the ride hardware was being relocated from another park, it was determined that the towers would be coming from SEA LIFE Adventure Park in Oberhausen, where they had opened in 2014 as “Hip & Hop”.

On 1st March 2019, Alton Towers Resort announced that ‘Peter Rabbit Hippity Hop’ would be joining CBeebies Land’s line-up for the 2019 season.

The ride opened as scheduled at the start of the season on 23rd March 2019, being seen as a charming addition to CBeebies Land.
