Guests are invited to step inside the rainbow and into the colourful world of the CBeebies Land Hotel, which is bursting with music, stories and adventure. As well as getting to stay in rooms themed to their favourite CBeebies shows, little ones can enjoy an extensive programme of entertainments which includes meet and greets, live shows and CBeebies games. With everything designed with the younger guest in mind, families are sure to have a memorable stay at the resort.

Car parking for the CBeebies Land Hotel is sign posted as you drive into the entrance of Alton Towers Resort. Once parked, head over to the main entrance where a colourful theming feature sits outside which has been designed for little ones to be able to climb on and interact with. One of the hotel’s key features is that only residents are able to access the accommodation. On check in, adults are given a purple lanyard and children are provided with a yellow wristband which identifies them as hotel guests, whilst all of the doors and lifts in the hotel are activated by your room key card.
Check-in is from 3pm (or 2pm for guests staying in a suite), although you can check in earlier if your room is ready. Check-out is at 10am, although he option of a later check-out is available at an additional charge. If you want to spend the day enjoying the resort’s attractions either prior to check-in or after check-out, the porters will be happy to hold onto any luggage you may have.
A standard hotel stay includes the bed and breakfast option, as well as a 9-hole round of Extraordinary Golf, however you can also add-on theme park tickets and entrance to the water park at the online rate. If you have an annual pass you can also receive discounts on your stay.
Hotel guests can enter the theme park through the Galactica Gates, which are sign-posted along the route to the main theme park entrance. CBeebies Land Hotel guests also enjoy free Express car parking for the duration of their stay, enabling you to park close to the theme park entrance.
All rooms in the CBeebies Land Hotel are designed with a separate area for children and parents and include a children’s entertainment wall with interactive play items such as activity tables for drawing and playing. In keeping with the design aimed at young children, every room has toddler friendly features such as a step to reach the sink, a cot, baby bath, and bottle warmer as standard.
The standard rooms and themed rooms all sleep up to 5 guests with a double bed and then a separate sleeping area containing a bunk bed and truckle bed for the kids. Suites sleep up to 7 people with a double bed, sofa bed and a separate sleeping area containing a bunk bed and truckle bed for the kids. There are also assisted rooms and suites available which offer the same amazing experience as the other rooms as well as handrails, multi-height peepholes and induction loops. Bugbies Rooms
In these delightfully themed rooms you’ll join the CBeebies Bugbies having fun in the rainbow-drenched, sunshine meadow. These are the hotel’s standard rooms and include everything you’ll need to enjoy your stay.
Themed Rooms & Suites
The hotel’s themed rooms contain an array of surprises and unique features for you to discover. They are more expensive than the standard Bugbies Rooms, but are great for little ones with a favourite CBeebies character or show!
Bing Rooms
Bingsters will be able to enjoy the ultimate sleepover in these Bing-themed bedrooms which are complete with an Owly night light and Hoppity wall decor and see the grown-ups sleep in the iconic park, with an impressive bandstand feature. Guests will join Bing and his friends, uncover hidden surprises and lots of toddler-friendly features along the way!
In The Night Garden Rooms & Suites
Give your little ones the ultimate sleepover by treating them to stay in their very own Night Garden. The iconic song greets you as you open the door into this magical woodland world. As grown-ups you will sleep under the stars of the famous carousel canopy, while the kids drift off with Iggle Piggle.
Octonauts Rooms
Continue your underwater adventure with Captain Barnacles and the crew in these rooms under the sea. With everything from submarine control panels to periscopes and portholes, you’ll feel like you’ve been submerged into another land.
Postman Pat Rooms & Suites
See Pat, Jess, Ted and other favourite characters and delight in becoming part of the postal service team, delivering your very own parcels around Greendale. As you watch Pat fly off in his helicopter onto his next Special delivery, you’ll find everything you need for some well deserved rest.
Something Special Rooms & Suites
It’s a Something Special sleep-over party at Mr Tumble’s house! Children can sleep in Mr Tumble’s starry bunk-beds, play with colourful hands-on interactive features, and spy familiar Tumble clothes and toys all around the room!
Swashbuckle Rooms & Suites
Ahaarrrr… Perfect your Swashbuckle Salute and join Gem in searching for the hidden jewels when you stay in these amazing Swashbuckle themed rooms. Your little Swashbucklers are guaranteed to feel like they’ve joined the crew and while they play you can sail away to a relaxing place.
The Windmill Restaurant
At the CBeebies Land Hotel, breakfast and dinner is served daily to guests in The Windmill Restaurant. Set out in three highly themed sections, The Library, The Castle, and the central section, the restaurant features plenty for little ones to look at and hold their attention.
Musical Meadow Café & Bar
Parents can relax and unwind in the Musical Meadow’s café and bar area whilst watching their children enjoy the hotel’s extensive entertainment offering. Lighter snacks are also available to order during the lunchtime period.
Plans
An application for an extension to the Alton Towers Hotel was submitted at the beginning of August 2015, followed by revised plans in September 2015 detailing the proposal’s 76 bedrooms, restaurant, café, bar and indoor entertainments area.
Construction
With an extension to the Alton Towers Hotel having been in the pipeline for several years, the plans were finally realised when the Resort opened the first ever CBeebies Land Hotel in July 2017, after over a year’s worth of construction.
