Alton Towers Resort have today confirmed two new additions to CBeebies Land for the 2017 season with both Go Jetters and The Furchester Hotel joining the line-up for the new theme park season.
Opening on the 25th March, the first of two new attrations will be the Go Jetters Vroomster Zoom Ride. Located towards the far end of CBeebies Land, between the Big Fun Show Time Arena and Mr Bloom’s Allotment, the new ride will see young guests embark upon ‘a Go Jetters global adventure’ in their very own Vroomster, joining Kyan, Xuli, Lars and Foz as they fly around the world. Manufactured by Garmendale Engineering, the Quadstar Aerial Roundabout ride, the first to be built by the manufacturer, will see each ride vehicle having its own controls which will enable guests to guide their Vroomster up and down as help to find Grandmaster Glitch. The ride will have a minimum height requirement of 0.9m with children under 1.1m being required to ride with an adult age 18 or over.
Also joining the CBeebies Land line-up will be The Furchester Hotel Live Show. Guests will be able to make their way through the Hotel’s revolving doors and join Phoebe, Funella, Furgus, Elmo and Cookie Monster as they prepare for the exciting arrival of Chick Swagger. The new interactive show will encourage guests to join in and sing and dance along to Chick Swagger’s famous rock-a-doodle-do hit, Tail Feather Shake.
This won’t be the first time the Go Jetters and residents of The Furchester Hotel have appeared in CBeebies Land, with selected characters having previously appeared as part of the CBeebies Land Meet and Tweet last summer. These latest additions will be the second addition to the popular children’s area at the Resort since its opening in 2014. The area was previously expanded with the addition of Octonauts Rollercoaster Adventure at the start of the 2015 season, whilst 2016 saw a refresh of the live shows on offer in The Big Fun Show Time Arena.
Further information has also been released about the CBeebies Land Hotel. Although previous details had been released regarding some of the entertainment available in the hotel, for the first time the Resort have confirmed the full programme guests will be able to enjoy during their stay. Starting at 7am each morning, the CBeebies Land Hotel will offer an entertainment programme right through until 9pm each evening. Included will be character meet and greets, live shows, interactive activities, and free play. All of the entertainment will take place in the Musical Meadow, which features a dedicated entertainment area as well as a café bar for parents to relax in.
Whilst guests at the CBeebies Land Hotel will be able to use the facilities in any of the Resort’s other accommodation offerings, only CBeebies Land Hotel guests will be able to enter and use the CBeebies Land Hotel.
