Full details about Alton Towers Resort’s newest accommodation offering, the CBeebies Land Hotel, have today been revealed as booking opened for Merlin Annual Passholders.
Set to open on July 8th 2017, the CBeebies Land Hotel will feature a range of themed bedrooms alongside a full programme of entertainment – including live shows and meet and greets – and a dedicated restaurant offering a selection of healthy eating options.
Guests will be offered a choice of either standard rooms which sleep up to 5, or suites which sleep up to 7. As detailed in the original plans, all rooms will include a separate sleeping area for kids, as well as a number of child friendly features including bathroom steps to help little ones reach the sink, baby baths, children’s toilet seats, interactive play features on the walls or an activity table for drawing and playing, and a fridge. Assisted rooms and suites will also be available. Each of the rooms within the hotel will be themed to one of several popular CBeebies characters including the CBeebies Bugbies; Postman Pat; Octonauts; Something Special, featuring Mr Tumble; Swashbuckle; and In The Night Garden, with each room transporting guests to their own CBeebies World.
The hotel will also feature a full range of facilities aimed specifically at pre-schoolers, alongside a year round entertainment programme. As guests enter children will be able to engage in an interactive reception area, whilst throughout the hotel there will be a number of interactive features. The hotel will have its own library where young guests can enjoy a bedtime story and unwind with calming music. In the dedicated entertainment area little ones will be treated to a whole host of live shows, meet and greets, story time, and games with Postman Pat and Bing already confirmed for meet and greets, and the Swashbuckle Gameshow, Bing and Andy’s Dinosaur Hunt leading the live show line-up. Children will also be able to dance to their heart’s content with a Tots’ Disco before joining the CBeebies Land Hotel Presenters for a spot of stargazing.
Also confirmed is the name for the Hotel’s dedicated restaurant, The Windmill Restaurant will offer a selection of healthy options, including pastas and the Grazing Windmill salad bar, as well as a menu which includes a fish finger dog, classic burgers, and the option to design their own pizza which the restaurant chefs will then create in the restaurants pizza oven.
