Alton Towers Resort have announced several changes to the Early Ride Time scheme today. This feature allows guests with pre booked tickets, annual passes or hotel guests to enter the park at 9am, one hour before the rest of the general public. During this time several rides and attractions are open for guests to enjoy.
The line up this year has consisted of Heave Ho, Hex, Marauder’s Mayhem, Nemesis, Runaway Mine Train, Sharkbait Reef and Thirteen. However the resort have announced that Early Ride Time will no longer include Thirteen and Hex.
The replacement rides have been listed as Duel and The Blade, meaning that all current Early Ride Time attractions are now on the west side of the park. As well as changes to the line up, the resort have begun to open the Woodland Walk path way at 8:30am, encouraging guests to enter the park for Early Ride Time from the hotels. The Woodland Walk pathway can be found at the back of the Alton Towers Hotel, and consists of a 10-15 minute walk through picturesque woodland towards Forbidden Valley.
The Early Ride Time list now looks like this:
- Duel
- Heave Ho
- Marauder’s Mayhem
- Nemesis
- Runaway Mine Train
- Sharkbait Reef
- The Blade
In previous years, Oblivion has been an attraction to open during Early Ride Time, but was removed from the line up this year before The Smiler opened. Stay tuned to TowersTimes for any future information regarding Early Ride Time.
