TowersTimes is pleased to reveal a few changes in X Sector for the 2013 season. Earlier this year we revealed the area was set to undergo a full refurbishment including an Oblivion repaint, an extensive mechanical parts replacement on Enterprise and much more. The majority of this is now complete ready for the new season starting this coming weekend.
In addition to the above, The Alton Towers Resort have replaced the Fanta branded sign at the bottom of Oblivions drop with a new one featuring The Smiler logo. In accordance with the plans for The Smiler, a theming piece has started to be installed on the central island of the area. Check out the photos below!
