Alton Towers 2011 Scarefest event came to an end on 31st October, after 2 1/2 weeks of spooktacular fun and rides in the dark. Legendary Alton attractions including Terror of the Towers once again impressed the masses, as entertainment for both thrill seekers and families was available in equal measure.
With the gruesome residents of the Boiler House now locked away, the park has begun the clear up operation as it gets set for what is likely to be one of the busiest weekends in the parks 31 year history.
The Ultimate Fireworks return from 4-6th November, with the park open from 10am to 9pm. The firework and laser display will start at 7pm and a discounted twilight ticket is available on Friday only after 4pm for those wishing to see the display and enjoy some dark rides on a shoestring budget.
If you do plan on visiting this weekend, please note that the busiest day will be Saturday with lesser crowds expected on Friday and Sunday.
We hope you enjoy the final days of the 2011 season and wish Alton Towers all the best in their quest to light the night sky up in style this weekend!
