Alton Towers seem on a mission to impress this year, with the launch of an interactive Scarefest countdown calendar. By visiting the interactive area of the Alton Towers website, web browsers can play an assortment of games and view media.
The first available calendar box, which was released today, is for the appropriate ’13th’ day to go – and shows off several elements of the resorts halloween event, including thrill mazes, The Boiler House and Carnival of Screams. The video is set to a fantastic, unheard version of the main resort theme – In the hall of the mountain king. Perhaps this new version could be used within the theme park during the event?
With Scarefest fast approaching, it’s great to see Alton Towers stepping up the spooks online, and we look forward to seeing what the remaining 12 days have in store.
