Alton Towers Theme Park opens!
Alton Towers Resort have re-opened the theme park for their 11-day February event. Today, Friday 18th February, sees free entry for all guests at the park – so long as they ‘check in’ using a Facebook application on a mobile device. Free hotel stays are also up for grabs for the first 100 people to do so.
The park begins its normal February Half Term event tomorrow, Saturday 19th February, with admission under £20 for all guests – making it one of the cheapest times of the year to visit!
As is normal for the time of year, some rides and attractions are unavailable – including all water rides, Rita, Th13teen and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory: The Ride. There is, however, still a wide selection of rides available including some of the parks biggest and best.
The park opens from 10am daily until Sunday, 27th February with rides closing at 4pm.
