In a Facebook interview for the Alton Towers Resort, Morwenna Angove has revealed one or two key pieces of information for this years Scarefest which runs from the 16-31 October.
The park will open until 9:00pm daily with rides and attractions available to access in the darkness of the night. Halloween Attractions near the hotels will remain open later.
The following two pieces of information came to light today:
– Scare Rooms will return for the first time since 2007, offering a chilling night of terror for a supplementary cost in the resort hotels.
– The Field of 1000 Screams is to be replaced by the Carnival of Screams, presumably a Circus based horror attraction.
Ms Angove also added that the 2010 event will be “the scariest yet”. Let us hope that the event lives up to the billing.
