Alton Towers “best in the UK”

After a bumper 2009 season, Alton Towers should be even happier – as they were crowned “best UK theme park/attraction” at a gala evening in London last month.

Beating off competition from major zoo’s, theme parks and tourist attractions the length and breadth of the UK, Alton Towers was given 1st place in the category.

As the theme park resort heads into a pivotal 2010 season, they should be confident that the hard work that’s gone into the general park presentation, themed areas, attractions and food and beverage has been noticed and recognised within the industry.
