Alton Towers have released their 2009/10 winter brochure via the official Alton Towers website. It contains full details for Santa’s Lunches, Sleepovers, Festive Breaks and New Years Eve packages which all appear to be priced similarly to the 2008/9 Winter season.
The dates for the theme park’s limited February opening have also been revealed as 13 – 21 February 2010. This will presumably include a selection of children’s, family and thrill rides as a preview to the main season. However, due to the ongoing work with the new rollercoaster, it is possible that the park would choose not to open anything beyond Hex (Cloud Cuckoo Land, Ug Land) – we will await further details.
Most importantly however, is the confirmation from Alton Towers that the 2010 theme park season will begin on Saturday, 20th March 2010 – and with it, presumably, the brand new rollercoaster – Secret Weapon Six!
