The schools have broken up, and Alton Towers is set for the peak summer season! With theme park rides open daily until 7:00pm throughout the end of July and all of August, day visitors will have plenty of time to soak up the summer atmosphere at the UK’s most popular theme park resort – with the Monorail service running daily from 8.30am to 8.00pm!
Also opening later is the Alton Towers Waterpark which will be open daily until 8:00pm throughout.
Whilst there are no special events this summer at the resort, guests will still be able to see the two theme park shows and meet the Alton Towers’ character mascots at selected times every day.
Early Ride Time (ERT) continues for Hotel Guests, online pre-bookers at altontowers.com and Annual Pass holders from 9:00am on a selection of rides including Oblivion and Rita – Queen of Speed for thrill seekers and the likes of Sharkbait Reef and Runaway Mine Train for families.
Please note that the Skyride will be unavailable after the fire at Cloud Cuckoo Land station. It is likely to remain closed for the remainder of the 2009 season.
