The famous Skyride system at Alton Towers, which has been fully revamped for the 2009 season with a multi-million pound investment in new gondola’s, has finally regained its tunes after an absence of several months.
When the brand new “Poma” gondola’s were brought in at the end of March 2009, there was an almost eerie silence as guests floated over the picturesque gardens between the various stations. However, TowersTimes can now confirm that brand new audio has made it on to the gondola’s for the first time.
Featuring advice on how to make your day even better along with sales and information on shows, the new audio is sure to make the new gondola’s even more “fantabulous” – to use the resort’s own lingo.
