This Adventure Golf course opened alongside Splash Landings Hotel in 2007, however it was not the first time there had been a golf course at Alton Towers, with one being a popular attraction at the park until 1994.
As well as a cafe building, plans showed two courses in the complex, themed around attractions in the park. The first course would contain holes themed around Storybook Land, the Farm, the Flume and Driving School. A volcano was proposed to be at the centre of the second course (possibly with Choc-uvious in mind), with the course containing holes themed around the Haunted House, Ug Land, the Farm, Oblivion, and Rita.
