Although there weren’t many events at the resort in 2005, there certainly were some unique ones, offering guests some very different Alton Towers experiences.
PS2 Freedom Weekender
In September 2005, a range of free activities were set up around the park, including laser quest, a zip line, and inflatable sumo wrestling.
Scooby Doo
‘Those meddling kids’ came to the resort over the summer of 2005, with guests being invited to join Scooby on the search for his kidnapped friends.
Sound of Music
During May 2005 guests were invited to get back into the habit, think of a few of their favourite things and yodel with the best of them.
