Although the ride originally opened in 1984 in Festival Park, these images were taken when it was rethemed and relocated to X Sector for the 1998 season.
The Enterprise carriages are pictured in the workshop, firstly fully stripped down to the bare metalwork. Carriages can then be seen with their new exterior, along with the flooring reinstalled. The cages were then added to them.
Out at the new location for the ride, the bare frame of Enterprise is shown in its new pit in X Sector. Work was underway to attach the rest of the arms to the central hub.
