Adrenalin Week, when the theme park is open for 6 hours a day with only the biggest rides and attractions, was a feature at Alton Towers from the 2005 to 2007 seasons. With a reduced admission price, queue’s were generally low and it allowed guests the chance to experience major attractions like Nemesis, Oblivion and Rita just one more time before the Winter break.
Adrenalin Week did not make a return during November 2008, after the 2007 event was poorly attended. However, it will make a return this year from Monday 2nd to Saturday 7th November. The park will be open as usual from 10:00am, but it will close at 4:00pm. Rides available are expected to include Rita, Oblivion, Enterprise, Submission, Spinball Whizzer, Runaway Mine Train, Nemesis, Air, Ripsaw, Blade along with some others. Please be aware that this list is based on past events and may alter considerably for 2009.
This is great news for anyone wanting short queue’s and thrilling rides as we head into the cold Winter months! All we would recommend is that you wrap up warm!
