“New Land and Shows” for 2009 Season

Alton Towers have stated that there will be a new land for children in 2009, at the end of their annual Winter Resort Brochure.

This area will include a “fantabulous” new indoor playground, and the Resort in general will become home to new shows and new “street characters”. It is currently believed that the new land will be a Cred Street refurbishment but this is not confirmed. Let’s hope that is is better than the last children’s area – that of the Dung Heap.

This follows news of a possible babycoaster being under development and photos of space being cleared near to the Cred Street theatre, earlier this year.
