With the 2008 season just over one week away, Towers Times has learnt that Alton Towers is to adopt designated smoking areas around the 500 acre site. It is currently unkown where these smoking areas are going to be, or in what quantity.
The park is now following the trend set over in popular American theme parks which have brought in designated smoking areas around their parks. We hope that the guests of Alton Towers will abide by the new rules, and allow non-smokers to be given the option to avoid any cigarette smoke.
