The entrance Hey Duggee’s area is found just next to that for Go Jetters Vroomster Zoom Ride, although the large archway, which features Hey Duggee and his gang, means you are unlikely to miss it!
Inside, there are a number of different sections with an array of play equipment and other interactive elements. This includes climbing structures, slides, tunnels and trampolines, and not to mention the Squirrel Clubhouse itself which has both a large slide at its front and a taller spiral side to its side.
Other features of the playground include a pirate ship and a yellow submarine, allowing younger guests to act out their own adventures. Models of members of the Squirrel Club can also be found throughout the area, complete with sound effects.
Next to the beachfront section is an area where Hey Duggee himself will appear throughout the day to meet and greet guests, as well as handing out the Big Adventure Badge (in sticker form) to those who’ve earned it. At periodic intervals Hey Duggee will also dance along to hits such as the Stick Song.
Hey Duggee’s Big Adventure Badge replaced Tree Fu Tom Training Camp for the 2022 season. While some of the play equipment that had been installed for the former attraction, which opened with CBeebies Land in 2014, was retained, other areas were cleared in order to be completely refreshed.
The area was originally used for animal paddocks, before a change of use which saw it become The Dung Heap playground in 2007. A use which has evidently been maintained ever since.
