With 2018 seeing the opening of Wicker Man there was plenty to celebrate, with the Resort hosting a variety of dance weekends, as well as the introduction of’ ’22 Things To Do Before You’re 1.4m’, and the usual annual events.
Fit JAM Weekend
26th-28th January – Dance enthusiasts enjoyed a weekend of dance and fitness workshops with UK and international fitness presenters.
February Half Term
All the February Half Term action was over at the Resort hotels, with a swashbuckling pirate and princess takeover.
Dancing with the Stars
9th-11th March – Know your foxtrot from your funky chicken? This was the perfect chance to stay over at the resort and dance with the stars.
22 Things…
With Wicker Man’s opening seeing another ride with a 1.2m height restriction joining the line-up, the Resort set 22 tasks for shorter guests to complete.
Scarefest
In 2018, a new maze joined the Halloween line-up, with long-standing Terror of the Towers departing, and the family offering was refreshed.
Fireworks
The season concluded with a fireworks spectacular that saw the return of Sir Algenon, as the theme park came alive for the final two nights of the season.
UK Street Dance Challenge
UK dance crews descended on the resort in March and November to take part in workshops and compete.
Christmas
With Santa Claus arriving at the resort for the Christmas period, he brought with him three different experiences, and the usual Festive Breaks packages.
New Year’s Eve
Guests could see in the new year in style with a choice between Sir Algenon’s or Ma Garrita’s celebrations, a CBeebies Land Hotel party, or traditional Gala Dinner.
