Whilst the Blue Carousel was not one of Alton Towers’ most famous rides, it could be found at the park for many years.

The attraction, understood to be of German origin, was first located in Talbot Street from around 1981 and later became part of Adventure Land 4-11.
It was eventually removed from the park at the end of 1991 after around a decade of operation. The attraction later featured at Flamingo Land until the end of the 2007 season.
