You’ll be spinning this way and that way once the ride begins, with not only the ride rotating but also some sections of the floor spinning independently. That’s not to mention how fast you and your crewmates choose to spin your individual barrel, so be careful not to make yourself seasick!
Marauder’s Mayhem originally opened in 1986 as the Tea Cup Ride when it had the usual theme of spinning cups and saucers, where riders chose the speed of the spinning using the wheel in the centre.
Originally located in Aqua Land, the ride has remained in the area through it’s transformation first into Merrie England and now Mutiny Bay, making it one of the oldest running rides in the park.
