Alton Towers was the place to be this Winter, with Santa coming to visit once again bringing with him resort wide festive-cheer and entertainment. The resort provided a variety of packages to suit guests of all wants and needs.
Winter Wonderland
The 2006/07 closed season saw the ‘Winter Weekends’ replaced by the Winter Wonderland short breaks. Guests could stay at either Alton Towers Hotel or Splash Landings Hotel throughout the winter period with the availability of Alton Towers Waterpark.
The ever indulgent Alton Towers Spa was also open during the winter. Mid-week packages that included spa treatment as well as breakfast and a night’s stay at the hotel started from just £69 per person, each night. Cheaper packages that excluded the spa started from just £32.50pppn.
During this period all the hotels’ restaurants were open along with the Woodland Walk and the Towers Complex which provided a great setting with the early morning dew and the occasionally mid-winter snowfall.
