Alton Towers will host the first fireworks event in several seasons as they return from 5-7th November 2010. Billed as The Ultimate Fireworks event – much like new rollercoaster Th13teen, the resort is hoping to attract tens of thousands of guests over the weekend.
The theme park season has effectively been extended to host the event and most rides and attractions will remain open until 9pm in the evening on each of the three days.
In local press, Alton B&B owners are delighted that the event is returning and are even booked up already. Other residents are also talking positively about the fireworks – especially as they get to see them from their back gardens free of charge!
Morwenna Angove is promising a breathtaking display as a fitting end to the parks 30th birthday season. Let us hope this is exactly what the resort deliver!
Don’t forget that Scarefest preparation is also well underway now, with the Towers Ruins closed to guests in readiness for the return of Terror of the Towers. Like the fireworks, rides will be open until 9pm between October 16-31st with many extra special suprises in store for guests in the shape of both family fun and thrill seeking terrors!
